Corporate communication in large format print conveying the offerings of the graphics and printing program at Central Texas College. This was designed in Illustrator and printed using the EFI 16H Hybrid Wide-format Printer.

Challenges

Digital Page Set up: Ensuring an accurate representation of what was created in illustrator vs real life took time. Accounting for viewing distance and perspective, DPI, the print shop’s icc profile, and the gamut of the EFI printer were all considered during the print prep process.

Solution: Frequent communication with the print shop staff, multiple test prints at smaller scales, and personal research.
